The therapist who conducts the assessment will interpret and score all the gathered data.
A full comprehensive report will be written and sent to you within 4-6 weeks.

YES, we use a range of methods to conduct an occupational therapy assessment for your child, including play, specialist equipment, observational skills, and discussions with main caregivers, school, or nursery. Additionally, if necessary, we can carry out a sensory assessment and the entire assessment process, including understanding assessment fees, can be completed over 2-3 sessions.
Wear comfortable clothes, and don’t forget to bring a snack and drink during your occupational therapy assessment or sensory assessment, especially if there are assessment fees involved.
Assessments, including occupational therapy assessments and sensory assessments, can take between 2-3 hours. If necessary, you may be asked to return to complete the assessment, which may also involve assessment fees.
We will send out pre-assessment questionnaires and standardized/non-standardized assessments to be completed and returned prior to the occupational therapy assessment. Additionally, we will provide a social story for you and your child to use if needed, which includes pictures of the building and studio space to help ease any concerns about the sensory assessment.
YES, we have toilets on site, and we have two onsite parking spaces behind our building, making it convenient for visitors coming for assessments, including occupational therapy assessments and sensory assessments. Please note that there are assessment fees associated with these services.
Although our studio is on the ground floor of the building, there are three steps to access the main entrance of Devonshire House, and unfortunately, there are no facilities for disabled access. Please note that we do have assessment fees associated with our occupational therapy assessment and sensory assessment services.

We also offer a unique joint intervention pathway, working together to develop speech and language, everyday skills, and sensory processing, tailored around your occupational therapy assessment.

If you have a previous ASI / Sensory / OT Report (within 6 months) and wish to explore our 1:1 intervention services, we offer an affordable face-to-face goal-setting session for just one hour. During this session, we review your skills and goals, incorporating insights from your occupational therapy assessment and sensory assessment. Following this, we will provide a brief document outlining GAS goals, outcomes, and recommendations, including the associated assessment fees.

Come for a session at our dedicated therapy space in North Leeds, where we offer comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and sensory assessments. Please note that we require 48 hours' notice for any cancellations; otherwise, we will charge the full price of the session to cover our assessment fees.

This includes:
- A highly specialist Occupational Therapist on site for the duration of the school day,
- Assessment of the environment and children's needs,
- Provision and completion of occupational therapy assessments, including both standardised and non-standardised assessments to identify children's difficulties,
- Training and workshops for staff,
- Reports,
- Attendance in EHCP review meetings.
*All write-ups are allocated within the set time, and additional work is subject to assessment fees charged at the hourly rate.
