Specialist Training Courses
We provide highly specialist, indepth, and hands on training to develop your team. This ensures the needs of your young people are being met
Topics include:
-What are Sensory Processing Difficulties?
-Adapting your classroom to meet sensory needs
-What are movement breaks?
-How to implement movement breaks
-How to develop motor coordination for play with pre-verbal children
Sessions are interactive with group work, resource provision and time to discuss potential cases.
We offer 1/2 day and full day training.
We have provided training to mainstream and specialist schools, learning mentors, charities and families / main caregivers.
We can also individualise training at an additional cost.
New specialist 'Cocoon and Evolve' training package launched

As Butterflies evolve we want your team to come out of our training cocoon so that they are skilled and confident to work with the young persons / adults who they work with. This will enhance team working, work satisfaction and a healthy work/life balance which will reduce staff turnover and excess costs!
We are in a great position to offer this specialist training package for schools / charities / care homes linked to:
- How to engage with young people / adults with sensory processing difficulties to meet their full potential and their independent goals,
-Identifying patterns of behaviour, and provision of suitable intervention to support that person,
-Building confidence and upskilling staff to complete individualised and group programmes,
Structure of the programme
The training includes a mix of virtual and face to face training which will keep your costs down whilst also embedding what has been learnt with staff.
There will be provision of lots of resources and hands on with equipment.
We can bespoke your training by adding on extra sessions as required.
Additional Information
We provide training to families / main caregivers within the studio space in a relaxed and informal way. It is a safe space to discuss, reflect and plan. We can provide sessions during the day and some evenings if required.
We also provide Zoom training for families / main caregivers if that suits your needs better.
