Mindfulness for children

Mindfulness can benefit EVERYONE!!


The benefits include increased well being and mental health, concentration and cognition, social and emotional learning and behaviour.


Mindfulness can:

-Reduce stress and anxiety

-Increase academic performance

-Promote well-being and resilience

-Improve concentration and reduce unwanted behaviours


Paws.b is a great curricula to use with children aged 7-11 years which will support children with learning about;


  • Specific areas of the brain and how these affect our ability to focus, make good choices, recognise  when we need to steady ourselves when our body or mind is busy or out of balance.
  • Ways that mindfulness can support them in many day-to-day activities, including concentration and memory, behavioural self management, and in relationships with family and friends.
  • Ways to respond rather than react – and therefore make better choices and take best care of ourselves. 


Sessions can can be either 12x 30 minute or 6x 60 minute with 15 minute reflection and feedback. This is either virtually, face to face or within a school setting. In and around Leeds.
